No Shortcuts!

There is the right way, fast way, long way and short way - then there is the right way! All in all we think that if your going to put the time and energy into making something great, then do it right! We have found that whenever we take the easy way (did we mention doing the hard thing first?) it ends up costing us more in the long run. So go ahead and put the right processes in place, write the extra code to fail gracefully, trim the edges and wait for the paint to dry. Chances are you'll find that it was worth the extra effort.
